The deepest lake in Japan at 453m. It's a crater lake.
We decided to get off the bus here and spend an hour around the lake. The buses comevery infrequently so we need to make sure we get on anothe bus at 14:10 to get back to the shinkansen station in time to catch our 15:05 train back to Tokyo. Eating lunch now... The onsen was fantastic. More on that later.
